Kaibu Foundation had the opportunity to attend the Climate Reality training by former US Vice President Al Gore in Brisbane, Australia in 2019.

During this training we learned critical tools to effectively communicate climate science and awareness.

As climate challenges intensify, the Climate Reality Project’s recent emphasis on leadership training in Fiji Islands represents a vital investment in the Pacific’s future. Vatuvara Foundation was part of the 150 delegates that attended this training in April 2025. By continuing to build local capacity and foster indigenous leadership, this program is helping vulnerable communities become more resilient while amplifying Pacific voices in global climate discussions.
